In the 6th match minute, Maloggia SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeff Fries to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute, Solomon Kreienbühl had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Jeff Fries fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maloggia SC's protests and gave Jeff Fries a yellow card for diving instead. FC San Eliane made a substitution. Maxence Baader replaced Solomon Kreienbühl. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Maloggia SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC San Eliane:s goal. Maloggia SC:s Williams Büeler showed great skill when he stopped Eddy Jenzer:s penalty. After a long run with the ball, Eddy Jenzer did a trick in the 11th minute in front of Maloggia SC's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 2-0. An impressive performance by FC San Eliane's Eddy Jenzer! If Rudi Perregaux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maxence Baader received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Williams Büeler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerd Bayer during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Maloggia SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerd Bayer to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC San Eliane booed when Maloggia SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Werner Riedweg didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Maxence Baader made the kick off in the second half. Maloggia SC's Williams Büeler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Istvan Giacomini in the 51st minute of play. Gerd Bayer kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Istvan Giacomini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Williams Büeler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gerd Bayer was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 60 minutes had been played. Gerd Bayer hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Williams Büeler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxence Baader in the 64th minute of the match. Williams Büeler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxence Baader, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Maloggia SC's goal looked a bit too open when Maxence Baader came free, but Williams Büeler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rudi Perregaux recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rudi Perregaux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Williams Büeler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lazlo Padula in the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the game, Istvan Giacomini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Williams Büeler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 91 played minutes Maloggia SC got a freekick which was hit by Max Giacomini. Maxence Baader struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Williams Büeler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC San Eliane. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC San Eliane fully deserved thier win.
