The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hector Hofmann showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Belfaux AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Sgayters Bülach's Hector Hofmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beniamino Sankt in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Arne Marti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belfaux AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sgayters Bülach the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvator Thoma in the 45th minute of play forced Belfaux AC's goalkeeper Nino Pfiffer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Salvator Thoma to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Beniamino Sankt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belfaux AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Beniamino Sankt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hector Hofmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stef Cinq-Mars kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Belfaux AC's zone, Andrijan Caluzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nino Pfiffer came out of the goal and Andrijan Caluzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute Beniamino Sankt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Hofmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Belfaux AC defense, Salvator Thoma kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nino Pfiffer. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Belfaux AC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
