Nankatzu F.C's Nikodemus Vitelli got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nikodemus Vitelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Raoul Franceschini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Nankatzu F.C booed when Fc Nendaz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Hunkeler didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Fc Nendaz's Raoul Franceschini got control of the ball when Nikodemus Vitelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fc Nendaz's Raoul Franceschini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Fc Nendaz from getting a goal against them. After having played for 35 minutes, Nikodemus Vitelli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After a rather tough play, Nankatzu F.C's Hans-Ruedi Reufer got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 48 minutes into the match, Fc Nendaz's goal looked a bit too open when Nikodemus Vitelli came free, but Raoul Franceschini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nikodemus Vitelli to strike the kick off in the second half. Fc Nendaz's Raoul Franceschini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikodemus Vitelli in the 58th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Garcia Schär got free with Ian Routhier in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 64 minutes into the game, Philo Zacchia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ian Routhier. Philo Zacchia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. If Nikodemus Vitelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raoul Franceschini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Nankatzu F.C's Nikodemus Vitelli in 79 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Raoul Franceschini guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Nikodemus Vitelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raoul Franceschini having to interfere. Raoul Franceschini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gillian Kohler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hans-Ruedi Reufer struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Raoul Franceschini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nankatzu F.C. Nikodemus Vitelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hans-Ruedi Reufer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute Hans-Ruedi Reufer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raoul Franceschini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nikodemus Vitelli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raoul Franceschini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Nankatzu F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Philo Zacchia came free, but Ian Routhier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
