Spectators: 7385 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Salvator Thoma started the match with the kick off. Hector Hofmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stuart Barbonetti in the 11th minute of play. If Forster Eglin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sgayters Bülach's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Francesco Beljean scored to the left of an out of position Hector Hofmann, making the score, 2-0. 31 minutes into the match, Sgayters Bülach's goalkeeper Hector Hofmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jochen Baertschi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Baraglia in the 37th minute of play forced Sgayters Bülach's goalkeeper Hector Hofmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hector Hofmann made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Lars Baraglia sent off a good shot on target. Hector Hofmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktor Scherer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Jaun's Sepp Goffredo was substituted for Lars Baraglia. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stuart Barbonetti made a kick off. Stuart Barbonetti kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Jaun's goalkeeper Reynold Steinger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Sepp Goffredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 minutes of play, Jaun's Stuart Barbonetti made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hector Hofmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! Severin Jakobeit kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Francesco Beljean hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Salvator Thoma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynold Steinger having to interfere. After 85 played minutes Jaun got a freekick which was hit by Francesco Beljean. Reynold Steinger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrijan Caluzi went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 94 minutes into the match, Sgayters Bülach's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Finger came free, but Hector Hofmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaun's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
