In the 15th minute Matthias Fuchs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Stäger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thorben Cinq-Mars fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brendan Wetter having to interfere. Kiran Sablone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brendan Wetter having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Thorben Cinq-Mars left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fußballverein Suhr fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Brendan Wetter made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Thorben Cinq-Mars sent off a good shot on target. Fußballverein Suhr's Thomas Stäger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthias Fuchs in the 39th minute of play. After some careless play in the Greifensee defense, Thorben Cinq-Mars kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brendan Wetter. The Greifensee fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brendan Wetter should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Jarik Uttiger hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 58th match minute, Fußballverein Suhr was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yanic Hennenberg to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Fußballverein Suhr's zone, Eduardo Weibel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Stäger came out of the goal and Eduardo Weibel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute of the match Greifensee got a corner. Fußballverein Suhr's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Karsten Pollastrini ran over to the corner to take the kick. Karsten Pollastrini made a great header on Greifensee's corner, it was just that Fußballverein Suhr's Thomas Stäger managed to reach the ball for a save. Eduardo Weibel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Stäger having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Thorben Cinq-Mars notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Greifensee's Brendan Wetter. Brendan Wetter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thomas Stäger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduardo Weibel in the 82nd minute. Brendan Wetter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irenäus Lampart in the 87th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Pirmin Rodel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the game, Pascal Widenmeier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Greifensee's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fußballverein Suhr the free kick. Brendan Wetter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thorben Cinq-Mars went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. In the 96th minute, Ermanno Sibenthal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Greifensee players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fußballverein Suhr.
