The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Felben was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Korbin Meier to maneuver through the defense. Fußballverein Suhr's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Martial Theiler scored to the left of an out of position Thomas Stäger, making the score, 1-0. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Markus Schaerer got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Markus Schaerer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 19 in the game by Markus Schaerer from a close distance when the talented Thomas Stäger managed to make a qualified save. Fußballverein Suhr's players were relieved. If Thorben Cinq-Mars had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gianni Schwander hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dario Lagrange during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th minute, Dario Lagrange hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thomas Stäger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Markus Schaerer in the 36th minute. If Lutz Zwimpfer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Markus Schaerer might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thomas Stäger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Markus Schaerer ran back to his position shaking his head. Gutierre Ochsner hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Yanic Hennenberg, 41 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Lutz Zwimpfer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Markus Schaerer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lutz Zwimpfer to make the kick off. If Markus Schaerer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Markus Schaerer scored 2-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thomas Stäger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Fußballverein Suhr getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Kiran Sablone hit a great ball. In the 62ndth minute of the game Markus Schaerer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fußballverein Suhr's Thomas Stäger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elijah Schifferli charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elijah Schifferli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 66 played minutes Fußballverein Suhr got a freekick which was hit by Kiran Sablone. Thomas Stäger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lutz Zwimpfer in the 75th minute of play. If Markus Schaerer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomas Stäger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lutz Zwimpfer in the 82nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Fußballverein Suhr's zone, Markus Schaerer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Stäger came out of the goal and Markus Schaerer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Markus Schaerer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Felben players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
