Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bernardo Gut kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Lax's goal looked a bit too open when Lajos Besse came free, but Dominique Kyd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Havel Märki charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Havel Märki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Lax getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Havel Märki hit a great ball. In the 6th minute of the match Vittoriano Gaspari sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dominique Kyd skillfully saved the ball. Mathias Veterini hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the match, Lax's goal looked a bit too open when Michele Abend came free, but Dominique Kyd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lajos Besse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lajos Besse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominique Kyd having to interfere. When Hennes Lamontagne came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Lax fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hennes Lamontagne couldn't finish the play. After 23 minutes, Bernardo Gut made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Udinese's Federico Rütsche tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hennes Lamontagne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michele Abend fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominique Kyd having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Guillermo Rösli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hennes Lamontagne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Michele Abend had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hennes Lamontagne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Rütsche having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd match minute, Lax was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Havel Märki to maneuver through the defense. Lajos Besse's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Dominique Kyd skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience was convinced that Bernardo Gut's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Federico Rütsche was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Dominique Kyd came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Udinese's Lajos Besse. But to his dismay, Lajos Besse quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Hennes Lamontagne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dominique Kyd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michele Abend, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Hennes Lamontagne notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Udinese's Federico Rütsche. Federico Rütsche was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hennes Lamontagne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Rütsche having to interfere. Federico Rütsche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hennes Lamontagne, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Lajos Besse took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dominique Kyd. Dominique Kyd dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Udinese players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lax.
