Farid Eiholzer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Umberto Weiss in the 14th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes FC Littão got a freekick which was hit by Joel Ekelund. Farid Eiholzer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umberto Weiss, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. FC Littão's Lutger Wolfer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save FC Littão from getting a goal against them. Narcis Giurăscu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Farid Eiholzer having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Manchester City 2's goal looked a bit too open when Christopher Girardelli came free, but Farid Eiholzer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Theo Massey kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Farid Eiholzer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narcis Giurăscu in the 42nd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kajetan Chevrette to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes FC Littão got a freekick which was hit by Claudius Donsante. 54 minutes into the game, FC Littão's Claudius Donsante nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Farid Eiholzer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester City 2's zone, Umberto Weiss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Farid Eiholzer came out of the goal and Umberto Weiss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lester Kunz kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Manchester City 2's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Claudius Donsante scored to the left of an out of position Farid Eiholzer, making the score, 1-4. Francesco De Col fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Farid Eiholzer having to interfere. Narcis Giurăscu charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Narcis Giurăscu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Manchester City 2 booed when FC Littão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narcis Giurăscu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 77 minutes, Umberto Weiss made it 1-5 with a short kick to the right side. Manchester City 2's Farid Eiholzer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With an all-out effort, FC Littão's Farid Eiholzer threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Umberto Weiss, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match was over FC Littão could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Manchester City 2 throughout the match.
