In the 3rd play minute Mark Dubach came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Walton Gaillou. 1-0. Malvin Estevis took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Germano Balmer. Germano Balmer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Bruce Arsenault scored 1-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Germano Balmer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fermin Grabiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Malvin Estevis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germano Balmer having to interfere. Axenstein's Walton Gaillou proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Axenstein from getting a goal against them. When Mark Dubach fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Isenfluh's protests and gave Mark Dubach a yellow card for diving instead. After 32 played minutes Isenfluh got a freekick which was hit by Mark Dubach. 34 minutes into the game, Malvin Estevis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Germano Balmer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Axenstein's Walton Gaillou proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Axenstein from getting a goal against them. In the 41st minute Gerulf Fäh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germano Balmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fermin Grabiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germano Balmer having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clayton Leonz in the 44th minute of play forced Isenfluh's goalkeeper Germano Balmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Malvin Estevis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half Axenstein were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Germano Balmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malvin Estevis, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute, Isenfluh's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bruce Arsenault fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Germano Balmer was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gerulf Fäh showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 60 minute of play. Raul Wegmüller might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walton Gaillou. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raul Wegmüller ran back to his position shaking his head. Walton Gaillou didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sergius Labrie went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. Walton Gaillou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Wegmüller, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the game, one of Isenfluh:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bruce Arsenault placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 74th minute, Fermin Grabiel made a precise shot to the right of Germano Balmer. Isenfluh's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruce Arsenault got free with Germano Balmer in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Clayton Leonz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Axenstein's Conor Hauser got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sergius Labrie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Malvin Estevis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Marvin Lindenmann fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Isenfluh's protests and gave Marvin Lindenmann a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Axenstein booed when Isenfluh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marvin Lindenmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Axenstein left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Isenfluh.
