Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jordan Bernuzzi made the kick off which started today's match. Cordell Dupéré received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kajetan Schmid came out and tried to block the shot, but Cordell Dupéré slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. After 7 minutes, Pierre Kreyenbühl mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Filisur and the Steffisburg players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Filisur getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Pierre Kreyenbühl hit a great ball. Steffisburg were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Filisur's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lasse Petermann took the corner. Filisur's Kajetan Schmid proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Filisur from getting a goal against them. Jordan Bernuzzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Kajetan Schmid made a huge save. In the 19th minute of the match, Neron Süber got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kajetan Schmid was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 23 minutes into the match, Olaf Isenschmid notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Steffisburg's Tam Küng. Tam Küng was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 29 played minutes Filisur got a freekick which was hit by Jerome Schneider. 31 minutes into the game, Enrico Federici was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Filisur's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Steffisburg the free kick. Enrico Federici kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Jordan Bernuzzi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kajetan Schmid. The goal made the score 2-2. Neron Süber struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Kajetan Schmid didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Steffisburg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordan Bernuzzi in the 43rd minute of play forced Filisur's goalkeeper Kajetan Schmid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Ferris Schiffer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Quintinus Koller to make the kick off. Neron Süber's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kajetan Schmid read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Filisur's goalkeeper Kajetan Schmid, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carlos Bänninger lost his temper 62 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Filisur:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Steffisburg:s goal. Jordan Bernuzzi scored 4-2 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kajetan Schmid, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Filisur's Olaf Isenschmid got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cordell Dupéré kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Neron Süber's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kajetan Schmid was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. In the 84th minute Steffisburg were awarded a corner. Lasse Petermann went to the cornerflag to take it. Steffisburg's Lasse Petermann was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kajetan Schmid in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Neron Süber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kajetan Schmid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jordan Bernuzzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
