The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Quintinus Koller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dominic Frappier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Kajetan Schmid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Filisur booed when Liverpool FC Est 1892 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rupert Charette didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Filisur's goalkeeper Kajetan Schmid had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dominic Frappier. In the 18th minute, Olaf Isenschmid got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th minute of the match Irenäus Roth sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kajetan Schmid skillfully saved the ball. Maxime Stuber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quintinus Koller, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Kajetan Schmid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Earvin Zumbrunnen in the 30th minute of play. Ferris Schiffer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Maxime Stuber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Olaf Isenschmid's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maxime Stuber was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Liverpool FC Est 1892's goalkeeper Maxime Stuber, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Earvin Zumbrunnen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Quintinus Koller made the kick off in the second half. Earvin Zumbrunnen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kajetan Schmid read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Maxime Stuber came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Filisur's Olaf Isenschmid. But to his dismay, Olaf Isenschmid quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 65thth minute of the game Quintinus Koller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liverpool FC Est 1892's Maxime Stuber was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Olaf Isenschmid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Quintinus Koller came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Filisur fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quintinus Koller couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd minute Dominic Frappier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kajetan Schmid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dominic Frappier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Kajetan Schmid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kajetan Schmid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Earvin Zumbrunnen in the 75th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Olaf Isenschmid managed to get in a good position for a shot. Filisur's supporters rose to their feet, but Olaf Isenschmid was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxime Stuber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maxime Stuber didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 85th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Quintinus Koller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Maxime Stuber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferris Schiffer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Maxime Stuber made a huge save. After 93 played minutes Liverpool FC Est 1892 got a freekick which was hit by Antoine Ziegler. When Earvin Zumbrunnen came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Liverpool FC Est 1892 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Earvin Zumbrunnen couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Filisur had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
