The audience thought a goal was coming when Pier Mattmann got free with Bryan Ramseier in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Domingo Burri kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of South Würenlingen:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fräschels HC:s goal. The referee gave Fräschels HC a penalty, 9 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Samuele Wyser, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of South Würenlingen's Falco Digel. 0-1. Fiore Howald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Bryan Ramseier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pier Mattmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryan Ramseier having to interfere. Bryan Ramseier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fiore Howald in the 21st minute of play. Joe Amberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, South Würenlingen's Fiore Howald got a free kick in the 25th minute. A collision led to South Würenlingen getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Stefano Buchmann hit a great ball. When Lennart Schnyder fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored South Würenlingen's protests and gave Lennart Schnyder a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, South Würenlingen's Lennart Schnyder got a free kick in the 35th minute. Bryan Ramseier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pier Mattmann in the 38th minute. Fiore Howald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryan Ramseier having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joe Amberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fiore Howald in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bryan Ramseier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bryan Ramseier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fiore Howald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Fiore Howald had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bryan Ramseier. Fräschels HC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fiore Howald was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 66th minute, South Würenlingen's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Björn Reuteler fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Emanuele Kurmann fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fräschels HC's protests and gave Emanuele Kurmann a yellow card for diving instead. Emanuele Kurmann kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. If Björn Reuteler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Björn Reuteler fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Pier Mattmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Bryan Ramseier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Falco Digel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joe Amberg in the 85th minute of the match. Samuele Wyser hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Stefano Buchmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. South Würenlingen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stefano Buchmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. South Würenlingen's Loris Anderjoli got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the South Würenlingen players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
