Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Regis Ziegler kicked off to start the match. Regis Ziegler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Lussier having to interfere. Cagliari's Jay Labrie got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carl Rutten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Flavian Coscarella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Jay Labrie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavian Coscarella was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. After 20 minutes, Dave Izzo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Schart United F.C. and the Cagliari players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th minute, Dave Izzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavian Coscarella came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cagliari's Jay Labrie. But to his dismay, Jay Labrie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Schart United F.C.'s zone, Carl Rutten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavian Coscarella came out of the goal and Carl Rutten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hieronymus Ziswiler hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Regis Ziegler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Cagliari getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Jules Wiss hit a great ball. Peter Lussier was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Regis Ziegler showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 46 minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Carl Rutten made the kick off in the second half. If Jay Labrie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, Hieronymus Ziswiler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Cagliari defense, Dave Izzo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Peter Lussier. The Cagliari fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Peter Lussier should have stopped the shot. Harald Hegner hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Jules Wiss's late challenge caught a Schart United F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jules Wiss helped the player get up and apologised. After 69 played minutes Cagliari got a freekick which was hit by Jules Wiss. Peter Lussier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Regis Ziegler in the 71st minute of the match. Flavian Coscarella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Rutten, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 76 minutes into the match, Cagliari's goal looked a bit too open when Loic Ryf came free, but Peter Lussier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Cagliari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jules Wiss to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Cagliari's goal looked a bit too open when Regis Ziegler came free, but Peter Lussier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Schart United F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
