Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Fiore Howald started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Alexis Frischknecht recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabrice Lüpold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th minute of the match Chäs FC got a corner. South Würenlingen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lutz Maina ran over to the corner to take the kick. Chäs FC's Lutz Maina was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Falco Digel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, South Würenlingen's Loris Anderjoli got a free kick in the 11th minute. Lutz Maina was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 12th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Fiore Howald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Tristan Blaser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Domingo Burri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexis Frischknecht sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 minutes, Franklin Zellweger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chäs FC and the South Würenlingen players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of South Würenlingen booed when Chäs FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franklin Zellweger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Falco Digel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexis Frischknecht, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the South Würenlingen defense, Fabrice Lüpold kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Falco Digel. The South Würenlingen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Falco Digel should have stopped the shot. 47 minutes into the match, Chäs FC's Fabrice Lüpold sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Falco Digel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half Chäs FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexis Frischknecht stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, South Würenlingen's goalkeeper Falco Digel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabrice Lüpold. After having played for 52 minutes, Alexis Frischknecht managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chäs FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexis Frischknecht was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pier Mattmann charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pier Mattmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pier Mattmann hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. A collision led to South Würenlingen getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Pier Mattmann hit a great ball. South Würenlingen's Falco Digel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexis Frischknecht in the 69th minute of play. In the 73rdth minute of the game Alexis Frischknecht who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but South Würenlingen's Falco Digel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fiore Howald in the 77th minute of play forced Chäs FC's goalkeeper Tristan Blaser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Domingo Burri came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the South Würenlingen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingo Burri couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd match minute, Chäs FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roby Saluz to maneuver through the defense.
