In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Romanel HC's goalkeeper Felicien Bourgouin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fräschels HC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lester Kretz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lester Kretz made a great header on Romanel HC's corner, it was just that Fräschels HC's Bryan Ramseier managed to reach the ball for a save. Bryan Ramseier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Uberto Ackerman's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. After a rather tough play, Fräschels HC's Aldo Häfliger got a free kick in the 35th minute. If Joe Amberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Uberto Ackerman, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 42 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Bryan Ramseier was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Aldo Häfliger hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The supporters of Romanel HC booed when Fräschels HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tam Da Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Uberto Ackerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romanel HC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uberto Ackerman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Romanel HC's goalkeeper Felicien Bourgouin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Romanel HC's Uberto Ackerman got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Aldo Häfliger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bryan Ramseier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans-Ruedi Figini, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hans-Ruedi Figini in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bryan Ramseier saved Fräschels HC from getting behind. In the 94th match minute, Romanel HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lester Kretz to maneuver through the defense. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
