Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Fiore Howald made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the game, Peder Meisser was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Romanel HC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave South Würenlingen the free kick. A collision led to Romanel HC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Peder Meisser hit a great ball. In the 5th minute Fiore Howald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felicien Bourgouin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Markus Gassmann kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Romanel HC's Felicien Bourgouin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fiore Howald in the 9th minute of play. Loris Anderjoli charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Loris Anderjoli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Loris Anderjoli kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Hans-Ruedi Figini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the game, Francisco Pfeffer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Romanel HC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave South Würenlingen the free kick. In the 25th minute, Francisco Pfeffer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute Domingo Burri managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. After 35 played minutes Romanel HC got a freekick which was hit by Markus Gassmann. Stefano Buchmann, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Felicien Bourgouin was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Harald Zeller. Pier Mattmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felicien Bourgouin was a little too slow when Pier Mattmann got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 1-0. After 46 minutes of play, Romanel HC's Uberto Ackerman made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Falco Digel was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hans-Ruedi Figini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Pier Mattmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. South Würenlingen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pier Mattmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 57 minutes of play South Würenlingen's Loris Anderjoli was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 58 played minutes South Würenlingen got a freekick which was hit by Loris Anderjoli. Felicien Bourgouin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Burri, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Pier Mattmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hans-Ruedi Figini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Falco Digel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hans-Ruedi Figini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, South Würenlingen's Falco Digel got control of the ball when Uberto Ackerman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Falco Digel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans-Ruedi Figini, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Pier Mattmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pier Mattmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pier Mattmann during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th match minute, South Würenlingen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pier Mattmann to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Trolla struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Falco Digel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Romanel HC. Pier Mattmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 97 minutes, Uberto Ackerman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Romanel HC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uberto Ackerman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
