Tristan Blaser made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Loic Ryf sent off a good shot on target. If Alexis Frischknecht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the game, Regis Ziegler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Schart United F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chäs FC the free kick. The supporters of Chäs FC booed when Schart United F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Regis Ziegler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexis Frischknecht received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. When Fabrice Lüpold came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Chäs FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabrice Lüpold couldn't finish the play. When Denis Brandini fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chäs FC's protests and gave Denis Brandini a yellow card for diving instead. Denis Brandini kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. If Loic Ryf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavian Coscarella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrice Lüpold in the 41st minute of play. Fabrice Lüpold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavian Coscarella having to interfere. After 44 minutes, Reik Lehmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Schart United F.C. and the Chäs FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Reik Lehmann hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Flavian Coscarella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexis Frischknecht, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Regis Ziegler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fabrice Lüpold recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexis Frischknecht fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavian Coscarella having to interfere. Flavian Coscarella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexis Frischknecht in the 57th minute of play. With his leg Flavian Coscarella managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Chäs FC's Fabrice Lüpold fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Denis Brandini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Flavian Coscarella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flavian Coscarella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexis Frischknecht, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Schart United F.C.'s Flavian Coscarella proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Schart United F.C. from getting a goal against them. Alexis Frischknecht sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 87 played minutes Schart United F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Julien Kurt. Alexis Frischknecht fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavian Coscarella having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Schart United F.C.'s zone, Alexis Frischknecht stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavian Coscarella came out of the goal and Alexis Frischknecht tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Schart United F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chäs FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
