Spectators: 7776 (Terracing: 5833, Seating: 1788, VIP seats: 155) Romanel HC's Felicien Bourgouin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timofej Amsel in the 4th minute of play. Aventador-Sirnach's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Hans-Ruedi Figini scored to the left of an out of position Alfonso Camenzind, making the score, 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Lazarus Stöckli notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Romanel HC's Felicien Bourgouin. Felicien Bourgouin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Romanel HC's zone, Roth Rothschild stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felicien Bourgouin came out of the goal and Roth Rothschild tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roth Rothschild received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Felicien Bourgouin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Romanel HC defense, Roth Rothschild kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felicien Bourgouin. The Romanel HC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felicien Bourgouin should have stopped the shot. 1-3 became the score in the 26th minute when Jaques Wiss elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 28 minutes, Lester Kretz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Romanel HC and the Aventador-Sirnach players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lester Kretz kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute of the match Remo Schermann shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felicien Bourgouin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rico Amrein in the 33rd minute of play forced Romanel HC's goalkeeper Felicien Bourgouin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felicien Bourgouin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaques Wiss went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. In the 37th minute, Markus Gassmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roth Rothschild in the 43rd minute of play forced Romanel HC's goalkeeper Felicien Bourgouin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Romanel HC's Sebastian Trolla got a free kick in the 46th minute. Felicien Bourgouin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roth Rothschild in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hans-Ruedi Figini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Roth Rothschild had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felicien Bourgouin. Romanel HC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roth Rothschild was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. In the 56th minute, Roth Rothschild reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Felicien Bourgouin. The goal made the score 1-6. The supporters of Romanel HC booed when Aventador-Sirnach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gioele Walthert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Gideon Bauer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaques Wiss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Felicien Bourgouin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roth Rothschild was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 90th minute. Aventador-Sirnach's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans-Ruedi Figini in the 91st minute of play forced Aventador-Sirnach's goalkeeper Alfonso Camenzind to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aventador-Sirnach played a much better game than Romanel HC and deserved their victory. The Romanel HC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
