Bryan Ramseier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hans-Ruedi Figini's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Uberto Ackerman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Bryan Ramseier made a huge save. After 25 minutes, Emanuele Kurmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fräschels HC and the Romanel HC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 25 played minutes Fräschels HC got a freekick which was hit by Emanuele Kurmann. After 28 played minutes, Romanel HC's Julius Ziswiler shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bryan Ramseier came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Romanel HC reached it. Emanuele Kurmann hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 31st play minute Uberto Ackerman came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bryan Ramseier. 2-0. When Uberto Ackerman fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Romanel HC's protests and gave Uberto Ackerman a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Romanel HC's Uberto Ackerman got a free kick in the 36th minute. Bryan Ramseier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans-Ruedi Figini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Hans-Ruedi Figini notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Fräschels HC's Bryan Ramseier. Bryan Ramseier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Romanel HC's Hans-Ruedi Figini got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Bryan Ramseier managed to avoid a goal in the 48thth minute, when Romanel HC's Uberto Ackerman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Hans-Ruedi Figini made the kick off in the second half. If Hans-Ruedi Figini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 minutes of play, Romanel HC's Uberto Ackerman made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bryan Ramseier was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hans-Ruedi Figini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Bryan Ramseier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Hans-Ruedi Figini made a precise shot to the right of Bryan Ramseier. Fräschels HC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 72nd minute of the match Samuele Wyser sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felicien Bourgouin skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Romanel HC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Peder Meisser hit a great ball. After having played for 81 minutes, Björn Reuteler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fräschels HC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Björn Reuteler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Fräschels HC's goal looked a bit too open when Hans-Ruedi Figini came free, but Bryan Ramseier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keith Büeler's late challenge caught a Fräschels HC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
