A collision led to Romanel HC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Sebastian Trolla hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, KS Pionki's Giusto Mathieu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Hans-Ruedi Figini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romanel HC's Uberto Ackerman got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebastian Trolla kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Leonello Hirsch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felicien Bourgouin having to interfere. Felicien Bourgouin made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Leonello Hirsch sent off a good shot on target. Nicola Hegner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Felicien Bourgouin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hans-Ruedi Figini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Baptiste Zacchia charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With a little luck, KS Pionki's Filippo Zeyer got control of the ball when Uberto Ackerman tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Romanel HC booed when KS Pionki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simone Schmid didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uberto Ackerman in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Filippo Zeyer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Uberto Ackerman came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Romanel HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uberto Ackerman couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Romanel HC booed when KS Pionki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dean Boileau didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans-Ruedi Figini in the 72nd minute of play forced KS Pionki's goalkeeper Filippo Zeyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The KS Pionki players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
