Eggenschwand's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrianus Caniglia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Eggenschwand's Arnold Dafond got a free kick in the 5th minute. Guillaume Dupéré received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Ronny Domini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heiko Nielispach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronny Domini having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Heiko Nielispach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Eggenschwand getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Michele Murer hit a great ball. Josef Bucciarelli in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Oliviero Jenni, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ronny Domini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heiko Nielispach in the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of Eggenschwand booed when Black Dragons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kolja Duplanty didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute Adrianus Caniglia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliviero Jenni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eggenschwand's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Araldo Ascani in the 40th minute. The corner ended in Araldo Ascani almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Black Dragons's Oliviero Jenni did a great save. Guillaume Dupéré's late challenge caught a Eggenschwand's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillaume Dupéré helped the player get up and apologised. 42 minutes into the game, Lambert Pratter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Black Dragons's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eggenschwand the free kick. Lambert Pratter kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Eggenschwand's Araldo Ascani shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 43rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Oliviero Jenni but with some difficulty. A collision led to Eggenschwand getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Araldo Ascani hit a great ball. Adrianus Caniglia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

After a rather tough play, Eggenschwand's Arnold Dafond got a free kick in the 51st minute. 54 minutes into the match, Eggenschwand's goalkeeper Ronny Domini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Heiko Nielispach. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillaume Dupéré got free with Ronny Domini in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oliviero Jenni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josef Bucciarelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute Heiko Nielispach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Domini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Lambert Pratter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Josef Bucciarelli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oliviero Jenni having to make a save. Guillaume Dupéré who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Ronny Domini when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Black Dragons's Oliviero Jenni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josef Bucciarelli in the 71st minute of play. Ronny Domini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heiko Nielispach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Heiko Nielispach got free with Ronny Domini in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 90thth minute of the game Adrianus Caniglia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black Dragons's Oliviero Jenni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Oliviero Jenni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josef Bucciarelli in the 93rd minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
