Jan Lehrer didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Black Dragons's Guillaume Dupéré shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 23rd match minute, FC Styls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas Kopp to maneuver through the defense. After 28 played minutes Heiko Nielispach rounded FC Styls's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. With an all-out effort, Black Dragons's Jan Lehrer threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Heiko Nielispach, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Oliviero Jenni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norman Murray in the 41st minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, FC Styls's goal looked a bit too open when Heiko Nielispach came free, but Jan Lehrer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Norman Murray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Douglas Kopp's late challenge caught a Black Dragons's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Douglas Kopp helped the player get up and apologised. In the 48th match minute, FC Styls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas Kopp to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Norman Murray was the one to do the kick off. Jan Lehrer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillaume Dupéré in the 53rd minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Black Dragons's goal looked a bit too open when Norman Murray came free, but Oliviero Jenni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barnabas Caya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliviero Jenni having to interfere. Guillaume Dupéré received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Jan Lehrer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Germain Pratter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Heiko Nielispach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Guillaume Dupéré got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guillaume Dupéré recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guillaume Dupéré fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Lehrer having to interfere. After 91 played minutes FC Styls got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Kopp. After some careless play in the FC Styls defense, Heiko Nielispach kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Lehrer. The FC Styls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Lehrer should have stopped the shot. Guillaume Dupéré fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Lehrer having to interfere.
