After 5 minutes of play, FC Horw's Rachid Caron made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oliviero Jenni was left in no man's land by his defense there! Guillaume Dupéré received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Timon Bettinelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oliviero Jenni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleasar Végiard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 18 minutes, Eleasar Végiard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Horw's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eleasar Végiard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 22 played minutes Black Dragons got a freekick which was hit by Lukas Coccia. In the 23rd minute Eleasar Végiard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliviero Jenni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 24 in the game by Guillaume Dupéré from a close distance when the talented Timon Bettinelli managed to make a qualified save. FC Horw's players were relieved. In the 29thth minute of the game Heiko Nielispach who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Horw's Timon Bettinelli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Oliviero Jenni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rachid Caron in the 32nd minute of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Rachid Caron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Horw's Eleasar Végiard got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eleasar Végiard to strike the kick off in the second half. Lambert Pratter's late challenge caught a FC Horw's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 57th minute, Black Dragons's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rachid Caron fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 59 minutes in the game, Eleasar Végiard fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Oliviero Jenni having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Massimo Frischkopf during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Black Dragons booed when FC Horw was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Massimo Frischkopf didn't get a good kick on the ball. Heiko Nielispach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rachid Caron hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Black Dragons's Stasio Kocieniewski couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 79th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Horw. Timon Bettinelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillaume Dupéré in the 82nd minute of the match. Oliviero Jenni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rachid Caron in the 85th minute. In the 88th match minute, FC Horw was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Massimo Frischkopf to maneuver through the defense. Timon Bettinelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heiko Nielispach in the 89th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Horw had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
