Spectators: 6776 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Norman Murray got the match started through his kick off. After 4th play minutes Adrianus Caniglia shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Jan Lehrer and just under the crossbar into goal. When FC Styls's Norman Murray in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eggenschwand's goalie prevented a goal. Adrianus Caniglia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 24 minutes into the game, Douglas Kopp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Styls's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eggenschwand the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Styls's Douglas Kopp got a free kick in the 25th minute. A hard and well directed shot from Araldo Ascani led 25 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. FC Styls's Jan Lehrer became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-2. Adrianus Caniglia scored 1-3 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan Lehrer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute Josef Bucciarelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Lehrer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The FC Styls players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Eggenschwand were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adrianus Caniglia was the one to do the kick off. Jan Lehrer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrianus Caniglia in the 52nd minute of play. Norman Murray took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronny Domini. Ronny Domini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Norman Murray in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronny Domini saved Eggenschwand from getting behind. Ronny Domini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norman Murray in the 63rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Eggenschwand's Araldo Ascani got a free kick in the 69th minute. Eggenschwand's Adrianus Caniglia got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jan Lehrer was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Adrianus Caniglia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adrianus Caniglia really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. Adrianus Caniglia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Lehrer having to interfere. Jan Lehrer made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Josef Bucciarelli sent off a good shot on target. Eggenschwand's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
