In the 15th minute Farid Merz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabius Brugger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bert Kappel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabius Brugger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quint Urfer in the 18th minute of play forced Gampel's goalkeeper Matteo Gloeckner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bert Kappel struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Fabius Brugger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gampel. Quint Urfer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matteo Gloeckner having to interfere. Quint Urfer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Matteo Gloeckner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jay Geiger in the 31st minute. In the 33rd match minute, Gampel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bastian Imbach to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bert Kappel in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabius Brugger saved FC grün-weiss Arminia from getting behind. After 36 minutes, Graham Robert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC grün-weiss Arminia and the Gampel players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC grün-weiss Arminia's Graham Robert got a free kick in the 36th minute. Bert Kappel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Fabius Brugger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 played minutes FC grün-weiss Arminia got a freekick which was hit by Antoine Lisibach. FC grün-weiss Arminia's Fabius Brugger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Farid Merz in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC grün-weiss Arminia's Graham Robert got a free kick in the 42nd minute. If Bert Kappel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jay Geiger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matteo Gloeckner having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Matteo Gloeckner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jay Geiger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jay Geiger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Farid Merz, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 57 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Fabius Brugger was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Fabius Brugger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bert Kappel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute, Jarrett von Arb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Quint Urfer in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matteo Gloeckner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gampel's Matteo Gloeckner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quint Urfer in the 73rd minute of play. FC grün-weiss Arminia's Quint Urfer got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jay Geiger's late challenge caught a Gampel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jay Geiger helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Gampel booed when FC grün-weiss Arminia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jay Geiger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matteo Gloeckner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jay Geiger in the 81st minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, FC grün-weiss Arminia's goalkeeper Fabius Brugger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Farid Merz. Bert Kappel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 92nd minute, Graham Robert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
