An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvan Riedweg in the 38th minute of play forced Gampel's goalkeeper Matteo Gloeckner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bastian Imbach hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the match, Gampel's goal looked a bit too open when Silvan Riedweg came free, but Matteo Gloeckner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The supporters of Busskirch SC booed when Gampel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Schurter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvan Riedweg hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
