Quint Urfer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Homer Murray read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Seewis's Raoul Oster sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabius Brugger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fréderic Schellhammer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabius Brugger having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Fréderic Schellhammer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seewis's supporters rose to their feet, but Fréderic Schellhammer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabius Brugger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the match, FC grün-weiss Arminia's goal looked a bit too open when Fréderic Schellhammer came free, but Fabius Brugger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC grün-weiss Arminia booed when Seewis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lion Ehrenbolger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Fréderic Schellhammer made the kick off in the second half. Seewis's Homer Murray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quint Urfer in the 52nd minute of play. If Geoffroy De la Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Seewis's Raoul Oster ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fabius Brugger. Fabius Brugger yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Quint Urfer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Homer Murray having to interfere. FC grün-weiss Arminia's Jay Geiger got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, FC grün-weiss Arminia's Fabius Brugger got control of the ball when Raoul Oster tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabius Brugger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geoffroy De la Cruz in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Graham Robert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salvator Achen kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Seewis left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC grün-weiss Arminia.
