Spectators: 7567 (Terracing: 5784, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 10) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pius Lepre kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute, Flavian Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mathias Hesse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ansgar Graziani, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Ansgar Graziani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Mathias Hesse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Jarno DuLin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jarno DuLin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Mathieu having to interfere. Jarno DuLin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kurt Mathieu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Mathias Hesse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pius Lepre in the 30th minute of play. Ansgar Graziani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mathias Hesse read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Remo Strickler's late challenge caught a Expats United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remo Strickler helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ronco SC's Remo Strickler got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jarno DuLin was the one to do the kick off. Kurt Mathieu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarno DuLin in the 53rd minute of play. Dennis Lucciotti's late challenge caught a Ronco SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dennis Lucciotti helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th match minute, Expats United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Lucciotti to maneuver through the defense. Kurt Mathieu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarno DuLin in the 58th minute of play. Flavian Koehler might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kurt Mathieu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Flavian Koehler ran back to his position shaking his head. Flavian Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Mathieu having to interfere. Jarno DuLin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flavian Koehler struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Kurt Mathieu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ronco SC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jarno DuLin in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kurt Mathieu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lucius Furst's late challenge caught a Expats United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucius Furst helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Expats United booed when Ronco SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucius Furst didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Jarno DuLin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ronco SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jarno DuLin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kurt Mathieu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Expats United getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Pius Lepre hit a great ball. Ronco SC's Flavian Koehler got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pius Lepre in the 83rd minute of play forced Ronco SC's goalkeeper Mathias Hesse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Pius Lepre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurt Mathieu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flavian Koehler's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. After 97 minutes of play, Expats United's Ansgar Graziani made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mathias Hesse was left in no man's land by his defense there!
