Stig Bürgin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marvin Scroccarello read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Adrian Renggli's late challenge caught a Egerkingen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Renggli helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st match minute, Flüeli FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Renggli to maneuver through the defense. If Spencer Geiger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amadeo Eggenschwiler made a kick off. Stig Bürgin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marvin Scroccarello having to make a save. After having played for 59 minutes, Stig Bürgin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Egerkingen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig Bürgin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amadeo Eggenschwiler in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marvin Scroccarello saved Flüeli FC from getting behind. In the 63rd minute Spencer Geiger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudolph Merki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rudolph Merki was a little too slow when Spencer Geiger got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 0-2. In the 71st minute, Spencer Geiger reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rudolph Merki. The goal made the score 0-3. In the 76th minute of the match Domingo Sigrist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rudolph Merki skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uli Rölli during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Renja Casutt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolph Merki having to interfere. When the match was over Flüeli FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Egerkingen throughout the match.
