After 17 played minutes FC 8370 got a freekick which was hit by Giraldo Egger. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Camilo Anderegg managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC 8370's supporters rose to their feet, but Camilo Anderegg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florian Moret breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of FC 8370 booed when Ultimate FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georges Muench didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Massimo Germann in the 25th minute of play forced Ultimate FC's goalkeeper Florian Moret to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ultimate FC's Reno Lüthi got a free kick in the 26th minute. FC 8370's Jonas Zollinger couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 27th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ultimate FC. Lucien Studhalter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Noel Zwygart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, FC 8370's goal looked a bit too open when Pawel Horber came free, but Noel Zwygart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Conny De Rossi got free with Florian Moret in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ultimate FC's Florian Moret proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Ultimate FC from getting a goal against them. The Ultimate FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florian Moret should have stopped the shot. Massimo Germann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Moret having to interfere. Noel Zwygart was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pawel Horber showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 73 minute of play. Florian Moret took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Anderegg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Massimo Germann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Pawel Horber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 minutes, Giraldo Egger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC 8370 and the Ultimate FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 89 minutes into the match, Ultimate FC's Pawel Horber sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Noel Zwygart narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Francis Espirito took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Florian Moret. Ultimate FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ultimate FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
