Horace Schätzle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Pierre Rusch made a huge save. When Nico Leonz fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Ibach's protests and gave Nico Leonz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th minute, Nico Leonz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Zemp in the 29th minute of play forced FC Ibach's goalkeeper Hamlet Frei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horace Schätzle was extremely unlucky when he, in the 33rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of FC Ibach booed when Outsiders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rory Mauer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Curd Trasatti was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 65th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Florentin Boss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jim Schenk in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hamlet Frei saved FC Ibach from getting behind. Pierre Rusch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Florentin Boss notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Outsiders's Pierre Rusch. Pierre Rusch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Horace Schätzle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre Rusch having to interfere. Pierre Rusch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentin Boss in the 93rd minute of the match. FC Ibach were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Outsiders for a fine match.
