Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Herold Sequeira started the match with the kick off. Rona's Herold Sequeira got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Raphael Clementia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Volker Meyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jim Syz in the 23rd minute of play. If Dennis Marfurt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 played minutes Rona got a freekick which was hit by Ferris Blum. Volker Meyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herold Sequeira in the 29th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robin Freihofer during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Rona booed when Ligerz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin Freihofer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute, Leonard Winiker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ulf Hirschy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rdth minute of the game Herold Sequeira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ligerz FC's Volker Meyer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Donatus Alessandro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donatus Alessandro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Volker Meyer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herold Sequeira's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Williams Baumann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Williams Baumann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Balthasar Zwygart having to interfere. When Rona's Herold Sequeira in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ligerz FC's goalie prevented a goal. Herold Sequeiras short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Volker Meyer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 61 minutes, Nicola Schwyter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ligerz FC and the Rona players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nicola Schwyter kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Ligerz FC's Volker Meyer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Ligerz FC from getting a goal against them. The long shot by Jesko Lauzier in the 65th minute really tested Volker Meyer's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Herold Sequeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Jesko Lauzier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rona's supporters rose to their feet, but Jesko Lauzier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Volker Meyer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 73 minutes of play, Rona's Jim Syz made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Volker Meyer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rona's Ferris Blum got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bastian Sager took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Volker Meyer. Ligerz FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Herold Sequeira took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Volker Meyer. Volker Meyer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Jim Syz scored 0-5 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Volker Meyer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donatus Alessandro in the 94th minute of play forced Ligerz FC's goalkeeper Volker Meyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Herold Sequeira put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Volker Meyer. Rona played a much better game than Ligerz FC and deserved their victory. The Ligerz FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
