Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Niklaus Vicente started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Cooper Frey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claude Neustadt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 4 minutes into the match, Atlantis United's goal looked a bit too open when Cooper Frey came free, but Claude Neustadt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernard Cicchetti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niklaus Vicente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claude Neustadt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harley Stähelin in the 8th minute. Solduno's Cooper Frey got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute Cooper Frey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claude Neustadt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Cooper Frey recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Claude Neustadt. Cooper Frey showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Claude Neustadt was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Giuseppe Frey showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. Cooper Frey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Claude Neustadt managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Solduno's Harley Stähelin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Cooper Frey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Solduno's supporters rose to their feet, but Cooper Frey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claude Neustadt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Cooper Frey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Solduno booed when Atlantis United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Zumsteg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Harley Stähelin could shoot a difficult shot in the 38th minute, which Claude Neustadt however easily saved by the left post. In the 39th minute, Cooper Frey fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Claude Neustadt, passed just outside the right post. Solduno's Bernard Cicchetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niklaus Vicente in the 43rd minute of play. Harley Stähelin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Claude Neustadt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cooper Frey to strike the kick off in the second half. Osvaldo Brasseur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Atlantis United defense, Cooper Frey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claude Neustadt. The Atlantis United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claude Neustadt should have stopped the shot. Claude Neustadt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harley Stähelin in the 65th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Cooper Frey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Atlantis United's zone, Cooper Frey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claude Neustadt came out of the goal and Cooper Frey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Harley Stähelin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute Cooper Frey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claude Neustadt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giuseppe Frey charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giuseppe Frey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th minute, Giuseppe Frey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harley Stähelin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Solduno fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Solduno's Cooper Frey looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 93 minutes, Harley Stähelin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Solduno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harley Stähelin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Cooper Frey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claude Neustadt was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. There was no doubt that Solduno were the better team. Solduno's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
