Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wikon's Niccolo Käuflin got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anthony Bourgouin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Salvator Mottolese tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 17 minutes, Justus Loiacono managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hajduk Split's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justus Loiacono was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Justus Loiacono came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Hajduk Split fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justus Loiacono couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the game, Wikon's Niccolo Käuflin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Salvator Mottolese made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 25th match minute, Hajduk Split was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascal Espa to maneuver through the defense. Wikon's Niccolo Käuflin got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 31 minutes Wikon's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Andreas Baum who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Andreas Baum almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Wikon's Ezra Veterini did a great save. In the 34th minute Rodrique Tano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezra Veterini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Pascal Espa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hajduk Split's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wikon the free kick. In the 36th match minute, Hajduk Split was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascal Espa to maneuver through the defense. Salvator Mottolese made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthony Bourgouin in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half Wikon were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After having played for 53 minutes, Justus Loiacono managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hajduk Split's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justus Loiacono was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Wikon booed when Hajduk Split was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrique Tano didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Anthony Bourgouin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Salvator Mottolese made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Niccolo Käuflin sent off a good shot on target. Salvator Mottolese showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthony Bourgouin in the 63rd minute of the match. With his leg Salvator Mottolese managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Wikon's Niccolo Käuflin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thomas Klein during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Niccolo Käuflin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wikon's Anthony Bourgouin got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Niccolo Käuflin might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Salvator Mottolese. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niccolo Käuflin ran back to his position shaking his head. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Salvator Mottolese successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Justus Loiacono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomas Sauerberg kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Justus Loiacono notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Wikon's Ezra Veterini. Ezra Veterini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Wikon walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
