Rodrique Tano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Claude Neustadt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justus Loiacono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claude Neustadt having to interfere. Atlantis United's Claude Neustadt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justus Loiacono in the 16th minute of play. With a little luck, Hajduk Split's Salvator Mottolese got control of the ball when Osvaldo Brasseur tried to sneak it across the goal line. Salvator Mottolese showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niklaus Vicente, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Claude Neustadt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justus Loiacono in the 26th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Hajduk Split's Justus Loiacono sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claude Neustadt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Osvaldo Brasseur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Justus Loiacono put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Claude Neustadt. Justus Loiacono's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claude Neustadt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Justus Loiacono recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Justus Loiacono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Claude Neustadt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Justus Loiacono made a kick off. Bryan Kaur tried in the 53rd minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Claude Neustadt a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 0-2. 56 minutes into the match, Atlantis United's goal looked a bit too open when Justus Loiacono came free, but Claude Neustadt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rodrique Tano came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Hajduk Split fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrique Tano couldn't finish the play. If Justus Loiacono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Atlantis United booed when Hajduk Split was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placidus Doggwiler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osvaldo Brasseur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Justus Loiacono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pascal Espa kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match.
