After having played for 11 minutes, Clint Malatesta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fussball Club Luzern's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clint Malatesta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michael Cathomas in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raul Walliser prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 14 minutes of play, Ensex's Tassilo Amhof made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raul Walliser was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Benedict Sanschagrin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ensex's Tassilo Amhof in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fussball Club Luzern's goalie prevented a goal. Bernardo Theiss hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chuck Schreiber in the 26th minute of play forced Fussball Club Luzern's goalkeeper Raul Walliser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Benedict Lustenberger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Korbin Buccino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Megnet, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Michael Cathomas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Raul Walliser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Fussball Club Luzern booed when Ensex was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rico Bachelard didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Cathomas got free with Raul Walliser in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tassilo Amhof struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Raul Walliser didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ensex. Raul Walliser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tassilo Amhof, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Korbin Buccino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clint Malatesta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ensex walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
