Füchse FC's Ernst Ottenin-Girard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruce Bächler in the 18th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Oberwil's Bruce Bächler slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ernst Ottenin-Girard. That made the score 1-0 after 23 minutes of play. Pier Lauzier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oskar Ritter, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Ferdinand Vonarburg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ernst Ottenin-Girard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruce Bächler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernst Ottenin-Girard having to interfere. When Elijah Cacciatore fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Oberwil's protests and gave Elijah Cacciatore a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th match minute, FC Oberwil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elijah Cacciatore to maneuver through the defense. The wind increased when Oskar Ritter made the kick off in the second half. Oskar Ritter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. The supporters of Füchse FC booed when FC Oberwil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ansgar Röösli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oskar Ritter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Oberwil's goalkeeper Pier Lauzier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
