Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ueli Dali kicked off to start the match. Enrique Zuccarino might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pier Lauzier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enrique Zuccarino ran back to his position shaking his head. After 3 played minutes FC Oberwil got a freekick which was hit by Ansgar Röösli. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Oberwil's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mario Jaeger was slow to take the kick. During this time Ayer's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Mario Jaeger got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pier Lauzier quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 8 minutes in the game, Ueli Dali fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Pier Lauzier having to interfere. FC Oberwil's Pier Lauzier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save FC Oberwil from getting a goal against them. Ayer's Nicolas Waller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruce Bächler in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Enrique Zuccarino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pier Lauzier, 1-0. If Romeo Lowe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruce Bächler in the 18th minute of play forced Ayer's goalkeeper Nicolas Waller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolas Waller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ansgar Röösli in the 19th minute of play. If Enrique Zuccarino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolas Waller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruce Bächler in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Ayer's goal looked a bit too open when Elijah Cacciatore came free, but Nicolas Waller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pier Lauzier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrique Zuccarino in the 27th minute. Nicolas Waller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Vonarburg, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Nicolas Waller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruce Bächler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ueli Dali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pier Lauzier having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Pablo Barrière was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ayer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Oberwil the free kick. Pablo Barrière hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Nicolas Waller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruce Bächler in the 32nd minute of the match. Enrique Zuccarino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Bruce Bächler notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ayer's Nicolas Waller. Nicolas Waller was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 39th match minute, Ayer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Lowe to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Ayer's Palmiro Schaerer got a free kick in the 43rd minute. FC Oberwil's Janis Bärtschi got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicolas Waller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Vonarburg in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruce Bächler to make the kick off. If Enrique Zuccarino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Collin Fink came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Ayer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Collin Fink couldn't finish the play. Elijah Cacciatore charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elijah Cacciatore the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th minute, Enrique Zuccarino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pier Lauzier was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Pier Lauzier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enrique Zuccarino went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Collin Fink received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Pier Lauzier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ayer's Collin Fink got a free kick in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Romeo Lowe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ayer's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Lowe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pier Lauzier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th minute of the match, Ansgar Röösli got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nicolas Waller was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 80th minute, Ayer's Collin Fink seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Collin Fink the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ayer protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Collin Fink had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of Ayer:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Oberwil:s goal. Ayer's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Janis Bärtschi scored to the left of an out of position Nicolas Waller, making the score, 4-2. Romeo Lowe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pier Lauzier having to interfere. Ueli Dali blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pier Lauzier having to make a save. A collision led to FC Oberwil getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Ansgar Röösli hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute Ueli Dali shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pier Lauzier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Nicolas Waller successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Romeo Lowe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Pier Lauzier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Ayer were the better team. Ayer's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
