Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Manolo Bollhalder kicked off to start the match. In the 8th minute Enea Fortin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Ehrlichmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Kickers Luzern's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Kümin came free, but Daniel Ehrlichmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 minutes, Sergio Kümin made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Kickers Luzern's Daniel Ehrlichmann tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniel Ehrlichmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Kümin in the 15th minute of the match. Johnny Högger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Jascha Brugger made a huge save. If Manolo Bollhalder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Kickers Luzern fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Kickers Luzern's Manolo Bollhalder looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Johnny Högger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Jascha Brugger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enea Fortin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Manolo Bollhalder blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jascha Brugger having to make a save. Jascha Brugger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnny Högger in the 55th minute of play. FC Kurden's Enea Fortin got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the game, Sergio Kümin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Daniel Ehrlichmann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 69 minutes into the match, FC Kurden's goal looked a bit too open when Manolo Bollhalder came free, but Jascha Brugger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Enea Fortin managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kurden's supporters rose to their feet, but Enea Fortin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Ehrlichmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnny Högger in the 78th minute of play forced FC Kurden's goalkeeper Jascha Brugger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute Johnny Högger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jascha Brugger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 played minutes FC Kurden got a freekick which was hit by LucaLucan Frischkopf. Michael Weissmuller kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Kickers Luzern had won after a very even match.
