The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fergus Campigli during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 16 minutes, Oskar Ritter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Füchse FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oskar Ritter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Füchse FC booed when Saillon AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sören Verreau didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Fergus Campigli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cecil Mahler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kuno Ostermann in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th match minute, Füchse FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerrit Aebli to maneuver through the defense. When Oskar Ritter came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Füchse FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oskar Ritter couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Saillon AC's goalkeeper Cecil Mahler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerrick Zulle got free with Ernst Ottenin-Girard in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Saillon AC's Jerrick Zulle got a free kick in the 38th minute. Kuno Ostermann blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cecil Mahler having to make a save. When Chris Balmer fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Füchse FC's protests and gave Chris Balmer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd minute, Chris Balmer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cecil Mahler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kuno Ostermann, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. If Federico Geisseler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Garcia Schüepp made a kick off. When Jerrick Zulle fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saillon AC's protests and gave Jerrick Zulle a yellow card for diving instead. Jerrick Zulle hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerrick Zulle in the 55th minute of play forced Füchse FC's goalkeeper Ernst Ottenin-Girard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 played minutes Füchse FC got a freekick which was hit by Chris Balmer. If Jerrick Zulle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jerrick Zulle in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernst Ottenin-Girard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Geisseler in the 69th minute of play forced Füchse FC's goalkeeper Ernst Ottenin-Girard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Saillon AC booed when Füchse FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Beckenbauer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernst Ottenin-Girard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerrick Zulle in the 75th minute of play. Garcia Schüepp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Saillon AC's Fergus Campigli got a free kick in the 78th minute. Jerrick Zulle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Ernst Ottenin-Girard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garcia Schüepp in the 84th minute of play forced Füchse FC's goalkeeper Ernst Ottenin-Girard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Füchse FC's Ernst Ottenin-Girard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerrick Zulle in the 85th minute of play. Garcia Schüepp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Saillon AC's zone, Kuno Ostermann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cecil Mahler came out of the goal and Kuno Ostermann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernst Ottenin-Girard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garcia Schüepp, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Kuno Ostermann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cecil Mahler having to interfere. The Saillon AC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Füchse FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Füchse FC.
