Nicolas Waller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oskar Ritter in the 11th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Ayer's goal looked a bit too open when Kuno Ostermann came free, but Nicolas Waller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Zuccarino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ernst Ottenin-Girard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute Oskar Ritter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Waller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ayer getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Collin Fink hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Ayer's Harald Strobel got a free kick in the 41st minute. After having played for 43 minutes, Kevin Kuhn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Füchse FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Kuhn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicolas Waller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Balmer, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

Ayer's Nicolas Waller proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Ayer from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute of the match, Oskar Ritter tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nicolas Waller saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Nicolas Waller made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kuno Ostermann in the 58th minute. With a little luck, Ayer's Nicolas Waller got control of the ball when Kuno Ostermann tried to sneak it across the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Ayer's goalkeeper Nicolas Waller had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kuno Ostermann. In the 90th match minute, Füchse FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Balmer to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ueli Dali in the 94th minute of play forced Füchse FC's goalkeeper Ernst Ottenin-Girard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ayer's Nicolas Waller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Ritter in the 96th minute of play. The Füchse FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Ayer from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
