With a little luck, Black Dragons's Armin Bilodeau got control of the ball when Beat Hagenbuch tried to sneak it across the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, FC Stadtclub's goal looked a bit too open when I Putu í Lon Jacobsen came free, but Fabio Hesse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armin Bilodeau made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Beat Hagenbuch sent off a good shot on target. The Black Dragons fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Black Dragons's I Putu í Lon Jacobsen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 17 minutes into the match, I Putu í Lon Jacobsen notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC Stadtclub's Fabio Hesse. Fabio Hesse was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Waud Soetemans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Fabio Hesse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, FC Stadtclub's goal looked a bit too open when Waud Soetemans came free, but Fabio Hesse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers I Putu í Lon Jacobsen in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Hesse saved FC Stadtclub from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, I Putu í Lon Jacobsen notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FC Stadtclub's Fabio Hesse. Fabio Hesse was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 35th minute Waud Soetemans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Hesse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Stadtclub's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Raffaelo Anderegg was slow to take the kick. During this time Black Dragons's players had a chance to rest. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Waud Soetemans in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Hesse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Armin Bilodeau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romero Affolter in the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by I Putu í Lon Jacobsen in the 46th minute of play forced FC Stadtclub's goalkeeper Fabio Hesse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Black Dragons were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Horatio Tobler was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Waud Soetemans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Hesse was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. The Black Dragons fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Black Dragons's Waud Soetemans looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Fabio Hesse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waud Soetemans, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The audience was convinced that Waud Soetemans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Hesse was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Armin Bilodeau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horatio Tobler in the 76th minute of play. A hard shot 78 in the game by I Putu í Lon Jacobsen from a close distance when the talented Fabio Hesse managed to make a qualified save. FC Stadtclub's players were relieved. A collision led to Black Dragons getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Raffaelo Anderegg hit a great ball. Armin Bilodeau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horatio Tobler in the 83rd minute of the match. Waud Soetemans struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Fabio Hesse didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Dragons. With an all-out effort, Black Dragons's Fabio Hesse threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Waud Soetemans, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Simon Lampart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute, Beat Hagenbuch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armin Bilodeau was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. In the 96th minute Horatio Tobler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armin Bilodeau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Black Dragons's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
