A.C LUGANO's Jorge Beremundo got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nikita Kälin struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Nils-Åke Esbjörnsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Perudiego. Nils-Åke Esbjörnsson came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Perudiego's Nikita Kälin. But to his dismay, Nikita Kälin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 13 minutes into the game, Perudiego's Fabien Kretz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nils-Åke Esbjörnsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Perudiego's Pat Schlüssel got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Perudiego's Nikita Kälin managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Simon Jurt in the 26 minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in A.C LUGANO's zone, Nikita Kälin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils-Åke Esbjörnsson came out of the goal and Nikita Kälin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dany Wehrlin hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Hassan Ferber took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benedict Felix. Perudiego's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 40th match minute, A.C LUGANO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Hitz to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute, Nikita Kälin made a precise shot to the right of Nils-Åke Esbjörnsson. A.C LUGANO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

In the 54th minute Nikita Kälin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Åke Esbjörnsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th match minute, A.C LUGANO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hanley Oehen to maneuver through the defense. Pat Schlüssel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Åke Esbjörnsson having to interfere. After 76 played minutes A.C LUGANO got a freekick which was hit by Hassan Ferber. Nils-Åke Esbjörnsson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Fabien Kretz. Fabien Kretz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Nils-Åke Esbjörnsson made a huge save. Jorge Beremundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nils-Åke Esbjörnsson was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Nikita Kälin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nikita Kälin really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. A.C LUGANO's defense didn't have a chance, in the 97th minute, when Nikita Kälin scored to the left of an out of position Nils-Åke Esbjörnsson, making the score, 0-5. Perudiego's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
