Ingvar Hansen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Beniamino Jerzinger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bennett Stalder in the 17th minute of play forced A.C LUGANO's goalkeeper Nils-Åke Esbjörnsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Jorge Beremundo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ingvar Hansen was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. 26 minutes into the game, Hanley Oehen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorge Beremundo made a kick off. When Flavian Wermuth fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.C LUGANO's protests and gave Flavian Wermuth a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st match minute, A.C LUGANO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavian Wermuth to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 65 minutes, Martial Gautschi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eggersriet FC 89's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martial Gautschi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eggersriet FC 89's Ingvar Hansen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Beremundo in the 68th minute of play. Benedict Gauthier hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Nils-Åke Esbjörnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martial Gautschi in the 73rd minute of the match. Ingvar Hansen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Beremundo went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ingvar Hansen came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by A.C LUGANO's Jorge Beremundo. But to his dismay, Jorge Beremundo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Ernesto Silvestri fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.C LUGANO's protests and gave Ernesto Silvestri a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd match minute, A.C LUGANO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Silvestri to maneuver through the defense. Eggersriet FC 89's Ingvar Hansen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Beremundo in the 98th minute of play. Eggersriet FC 89's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because A.C LUGANO had won, even though Eggersriet FC 89 had held more of the ball.
