Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Serge Frei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ignacio Barbosa went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 9th minute Jaromir Fuchs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitório Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vitório Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryan Iosif in the 10th minute of play. After 13 minutes, Ignacio Barbosa made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC Volketswil's Serge Frei tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvatore Ruano in the 19th minute of play forced FC Barcelona's goalkeeper Vitório Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vitório Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaromir Fuchs in the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Barcelona's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Michael Archambault was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Volketswil's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Michael Archambault got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vitório Goiano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, FC Volketswil's Eduard Gschwind got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Ignacio Barbosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serge Frei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ignacio Barbosa ran back to his position shaking his head. If Ignacio Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Ignacio Barbosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Serge Frei was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Ignacio Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serge Frei having to interfere. Elroy Kolb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Salvatore Ruano made a kick off. Serge Frei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ignacio Barbosa's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Ignacio Barbosa put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Serge Frei. 60 minutes into the match, Ignacio Barbosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serge Frei. FC Volketswil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ignacio Barbosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Serge Frei came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Barcelona's Mario Vinciguerra. But to his dismay, Mario Vinciguerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 69th minute, Elroy Kolb ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Serge Frei was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Elroy Kolb struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Serge Frei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Barcelona. After 75 played minutes FC Volketswil got a freekick which was hit by Zelimir Imhof. Serge Frei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ignacio Barbosa went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. In the 83rd minute, Jaromir Fuchs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Laderoute recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The FC Barcelona fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when FC Barcelona's Ignacio Barbosa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 97th minute, Ignacio Barbosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Barcelona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Barcelona had played much better football throughout.
