Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eamon Hess kicked off to start the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Balduin Müggler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dinamo ST Gallen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Balduin Müggler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cäsar Daecher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eamon Hess in the 5th minute of the match. Jonas Lütolf made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Francisco Borer sent off a good shot on target. When Antonio Paly came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the AG.S. Rhäzüns FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Paly couldn't finish the play. Francisco Borer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonas Lütolf having to make a save. 18 minutes into the match, Francisco Borer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonas Lütolf. AG.S. Rhäzüns FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Borer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Francisco Borer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Antonio Paly managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AG.S. Rhäzüns FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonio Paly was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Dinamo ST Gallen's Francisco Borer slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonas Lütolf. That made the score 2-0 after 35 minutes of play. Giacomo Hecht recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Dinamo ST Gallen getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Balduin Müggler hit a great ball. The supporters of Dinamo ST Gallen booed when AG.S. Rhäzüns FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mitja Huber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dinamo ST Gallen's Francisco Borer couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 46th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for AG.S. Rhäzüns FC. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

If Francisco Borer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Francisco Borer came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Dinamo ST Gallen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Borer couldn't finish the play. If Theo Netzer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, one of AG.S. Rhäzüns FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AG.S. Rhäzüns FC. Jonas Lütolf had in the 67thth minute some difficulties stopping Francisco Borer's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Dinamo ST Gallen were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after AG.S. Rhäzüns FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Francisco Borer took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of AG.S. Rhäzüns FC's goalie and right to Emanuele Flückiger. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. AG.S. Rhäzüns FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Dinamo ST Gallen's Francisco Borer got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Dinamo ST Gallen's Francisco Borer in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AG.S. Rhäzüns FC's goalie prevented a goal. Mitja Huber hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Theo Netzer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Francisco Borer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Borer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jonas Lütolf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Theo Netzer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
