Kordt Gätter hit a great ball. Bodo Schwaller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Manol Skarlatov made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in FC Winznau's zone, Mike Robert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robin Beike came out of the goal and Mike Robert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robin Beike made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Larry Feiss in the 27th minute of play. Niels Eglin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robin Beike having to make a save. Larry Feiss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Robin Beike tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Larry Feiss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Beike having to interfere. After 33 minutes of play, ARAPONGAS's Niels Eglin made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robin Beike was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Larry Feiss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Karl Rusterholz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The ARAPONGAS fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when ARAPONGAS's Mike Robert looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bodo Schwaller stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niels Eglin in the 57th minute of play forced FC Winznau's goalkeeper Robin Beike to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niels Eglin couldn't finish the play. Niels Eglin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robin Beike having to make a save. Niels Eglin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Robin Beike came out and tried to block the shot, but Niels Eglin slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 83rd minute. Kordt Gätter hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Mike Robert struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Robin Beike didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ARAPONGAS. ARAPONGAS played a much better game than FC Winznau and deserved their victory. The FC Winznau players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
