Cuba Libre Basel's Yvan Cicchetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yannis Lauri in the 52nd minute of play. Yvan Cicchetti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hubert Strebel in the 56th minute of the match. After 58 minutes of play, Mon's Yannis Lauri made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yvan Cicchetti was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Mon's Freeman Sperisen in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Yvan Cicchetti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hubert Strebel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the game, Alonzo Vermudo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cuba Libre Basel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mon the free kick.
