Spectators: 6938 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1938, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Francisco Borer started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Giacomo Hecht made a precise shot to the right of Alvarez Déziel. Riedli HC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 9th minute, Theo Netzer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dinamo ST Gallen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Francisco Borer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cäsar Daecher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claude Abendroth in the 18th minute of play. Alvarez Déziel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Borer's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute Francisco Borer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvarez Déziel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Cäsar Daecher successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cäsar Daecher was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Claude Abendroth capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Claude Abendroth really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Alvarez Déziel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Borer, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Fred Duplanty took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cäsar Daecher. Cäsar Daecher dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Theo Netzer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvarez Déziel having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claude Abendroth to make the kick off. Francisco Borer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Balduin Müggler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvarez Déziel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theo Netzer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cäsar Daecher didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claude Abendroth went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Giacomo Hecht recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leander Boss kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. If Giacomo Hecht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Riedli HC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Jochen Foerster hit a great ball. With a little luck, Riedli HC's Alvarez Déziel got control of the ball when Francisco Borer tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Riedli HC defense, Theo Netzer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvarez Déziel. The Riedli HC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvarez Déziel should have stopped the shot. Francisco Borer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leander Boss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Alvarez Déziel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Francisco Borer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 92nd minute, Francisco Borer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dinamo ST Gallen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-6. 96 minutes into the match, Riedli HC's goalkeeper Alvarez Déziel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Borer.
