After 5 minutes, Frank Bragger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AG.S. Rhäzüns FC and the Riedli HC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, AG.S. Rhäzüns FC's Frank Bragger got a free kick in the 5th minute. After 6 played minutes Jochen Foerster shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for AG.S. Rhäzüns FC's Jonas Lütolf to catch but Jochen Foerster was lucky. It became 0-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claude Abendroth in the 9th minute of play forced AG.S. Rhäzüns FC's goalkeeper Jonas Lütolf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claude Abendroth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the game, Ralph Mazza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Riedli HC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AG.S. Rhäzüns FC the free kick. A collision led to Riedli HC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Ralph Mazza hit a great ball. Sidonius Eisenhauer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonas Lütolf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Duplanty in the 29th minute of play. When Riedli HC's Fred Duplanty in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AG.S. Rhäzüns FC's goalie prevented a goal. Riedli HC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sidonius Eisenhauer 36 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. The supporters of Riedli HC booed when AG.S. Rhäzüns FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Bragger didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute of the match Jochen Foerster shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonas Lütolf showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 42nd minute, Claude Abendroth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonas Lütolf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claude Abendroth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ralph Mazza was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 55 minutes had been played. In the 56th match minute, Riedli HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralph Mazza to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Sidonius Eisenhauer managed to get in a good position for a shot. AG.S. Rhäzüns FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sidonius Eisenhauer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvarez Déziel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fred Duplanty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute, Claude Abendroth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With 73 minutes on the clock, Fernand Schorta commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Riedli HC! 80 minutes into the match, Dylan Roth notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of AG.S. Rhäzüns FC's Jonas Lütolf. Jonas Lütolf was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sidonius Eisenhauer in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvarez Déziel saved Riedli HC from getting behind. After 87 played minutes AG.S. Rhäzüns FC got a freekick which was hit by Frank Bragger. Gilberto Poulin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Riedli HC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
